The Department of Education and Skills has granted approval for six pilot supply panels of substitute teachers in Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Galway and Cork. Sanction has been given to fill up to three fixed term posts in each cluster and these posts have been advertised on www.educationposts.ie. Meetings of principals are also being held with clusters of schools in the pilot areas to encourage take up of the scheme. Full details of the Pilot Supply Panels can be found in Circular 59/2019.
