Main redeployment panels came into operation this year on 22 April 2024. An update from the Department of Education, published on 9 May 2024, here, confirms that there are still 113 permanent or CID-holding teachers awaiting redeployment.
Members who accept a permanent job from the main panel are reminded to submit a Panel Update Form to DE Primary Allocations and to notify the panel operator, in order to remove themselves from the main panel.
When the main panels have cleared the supplementary panels will come into operation and schools will be in a position to make fixed-term appointments.
