INTO summer courses – last chance to register

The Irish National Teachers’ Organisation (INTO) Summer Course Programme is due to open on Monday, 1 July, providing high-quality professional development to thousands of teachers. This year’s programme offers a broad range of courses across a variety of formats including three face-to-face and 11 online asynchronous courses. The suite of courses this year includes several new courses including Gaeilge I nGníomh, an online course that is aimed at supporting teachers in T1 and T2 schools. Oideas Gael are collaborating with INTO to host an inaugural face-to-face course An Ghaeilge: Cumarsáid, Comhluadar agus Craic in Gleann Cholum Cille, Dún nan Gall. The course will also run in Dun Chaoin, Co. Chiarraí with limited places remaining.

The INTO is looking forward to welcoming aspiring leaders to the return of our face-to-face course on Optimising your Middle Leadership Role in Schools. The course will take place in the Teachers’ Club, Dublin 1 and will be of particular interest to new and aspiring assistant principals as well as providing newly appointed principals and deputy principals with greater confidence on how to optimise middle leadership to benefit ongoing school improvement.

The 2024 programme will also see the return of some of our most popular online courses including Moving from Mainstream to SET and Understanding and Supporting Pupils suffering Adverse Childhood Trauma. There are a small number of courses remaining with limited capacity at moodle.intolearning.ie.
