The Department of Education has today published Circular 0090/2024, which sets out the conditions and application process for access to the Supplementary Panel for recruitment to permanent positions arising for the 2025/26 school year.

The INTO is holding a Supplementary Panel webinar on Tuesday, 26 November from 3.30 – 4.45pm. This webinar will be delivered by Ashling Lynch from the Conditions of Employment and Leadership Section, with input from Donna Kenny from the Department of Education Allocations Section.

Key dates and application process
Applicants should note the following for this year:
- The Department of Education will accept postal applications only.
- The deadline for Supplementary Panel applications this year is 20 December 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.
- You will need to be fully registered with the Teaching Council, with no outstanding conditions, by 20 December 2024.
- The DE will confirm receipt of applications by the end of January, and it is advisable that applicants retain a copy of their application and proof of posting.
