Circular 17/2019 (pdf) sets out the Teacher fee refund scheme.
Teachers who have completed courses (or part of courses e.g. year 1 of a 2 year Masters) in the academic year Sept 2017-August 2018 and are fully registered with the Teaching Council are eligible to apply.
Fully registered teachers on secondment within the education sector can also apply.
The course must be directly relevant or of benefit to schools and the accreditation awarding authority must be recognised by the DES.
Closing date to apply with relevant documentation is March 29th 2019.
The INTO is working through the Teachers Conciliation Council to seek improvements to this scheme for our members.
