On Wednesday 5 June, workplaces and trade unions around Ireland are asked to support the people of Palestine. This call from the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign is supported by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and promotes the blocking of arms to Israel and engagement with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

INTO encourages members to take part in the day of action on 5 June, which is Naksa Day, marking the start of the occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
One tangible action at local level would be for your INTO branch and INTO District to become designated as Apartheid Free Zones. Members are also encouraged to familiarise themselves with the BDS campaign.
Join INTO in calling for the immediate cessation of violence, the release of all hostages and the urgent distribution of aid to all in need.
