Members’ Queryline

The Members’ Queryline operates from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

All new phone queries are logged by reception staff, who will need to confirm your INTO membership, using an identifier such as your payroll number, email address or date of birth. If you send your query by email, it is essential that you include identifying information.

Phone, email, and online queries are all logged at reception and then forwarded to the appropriate query team for a response. Members may also log queries via the portal through the INTO website. Under the Members’ Service Charter, our service target is to respond to a member’s query within a reasonable timeframe but no longer than three working days. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control which can cause a longer response time.

Queries are generally answered in the order in which they are received, but urgent or emergency issues such as child protection, immediate threat of disciplinary action, assaults or bereavement are prioritised. For straightforward questions on conditions of employment, sending an email to info@into.ie is often the quickest way to get information.

N.B. Callers to Northern Ireland landlines from the Republic should substitute 028 area code for 048.
