The Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) are offering a number of online training courses for INTO members – details can be found below:
ICTU Online H&S training for INTO Health and Safety Representatives during COVID-19
4 online sessions on 12, 13, 21, 22nd October – 3.30 to 6.00pm with breaks
The course will cover:
- Rights, roles and functions of a H&S representative.
- COVID-19 and the workplace.
- Relevant protection legislation.
- Understanding and carrying out risk assessments.
The course will be accredited by OCN at level 2 and learners must complete a workbook and some independent learning.

ICTU Online Training for School Leaders
A further online training course for school leaders on managing health and safety during COVID will be available in October, details of this course and the dates will be updated to the INTO website early next week.
