The academic year of 2023/2024 has concluded, and it made huge demands of you all. We hope you have had a chance to enjoy some well-deserved down time in the company of family and friends. As the new school year begins, we and the Northern Office staff would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing membership and support.
By now you should have received your welcome back pack, which included your 2024/25 Diary, Wall Planner and Membership Plus card for 2024/25 & 2025/26. If you have not received your copies by mid-September please contact us by email at: infoni@into.ie with details of your name, school AND Teacher Reference Number.
Over the course of this year, you will receive copies of the union’s journal InTouch, to which members can contribute news items and features (for InTouch enquiries please email cmcdonnell@into.ie).
The INTO website continues to be updated regularly and will continue to provide instant access to advice and information. INTO’s X/Twitter (@INTO_NI) and Facebook (INTONorthernOffice) accounts are also available for you to follow our latest posts and we would urge you to subscribe to these platforms.
Please ensure your contact details are current on the INTO database. To update your details log into the ‘My Profile’ section on the INTO website. For assistance with logging in please email infoni@into.ie with your name and Teacher Reference number. Fast and accurate communication is more important than ever and we want to ensure we have your most up to date details.
Hopefully over the weeks and months ahead you will have the opportunity to take an active interest in INTO’s work. INTO will continue working to ensure your health and well-being remain central to all that we seek to achieve, not least a decent and fair salary uplift for you. This will certainly be a challenging year but with your participation and support, as a union, INTO will seek to achieve and deliver the best outcomes for you.
