Talking Menopause and the Workplace Introductory Webinar

  • 31 May 2023
  • 3:30pm - 4:45pm
  • Online
  • Organised by INTO Northern Office

There has been somewhat of a long overdue revolution on perimenopause and menopause public discourse. This introductory webinar will introduce the topic and provide a taster for a full five session accredited course scheduled to commence at the end of September.

Many women will experience menopause symptoms, which can be a real challenge and impact their day to day lives. The course will provide an opportunity to learn about the symptoms of menopause, the support available and offers a safe and brave space to discuss a subject that is often ignored and taboo. The course is led by people who have experienced the impact of menopause.

Perimenopause and menopause affects women at home, in the workplace and in social situations and rather than feeling isolated, distressed or confused, this course aims to ‘talk menopause’ and offers nondirective practical, emotional and collective support for women and workplace representatives supporting women in the workplace.

The webinar is an introductory session for the forthcoming ‘MENOPAUSE AND THE WORKPLACE, five-session accredited course, which will run for five evenings in the autumn term, starting on Wednesday 27 September from 6.30pm-8.30pm. Further details on this five-session course with the link to registration will be available at the end of August 2023.
